Eastrop Community Centre was opened in 1998 by Councillor Roger Morris to serve the Riverdene, Rosebanks and Eastrop residents and is managed by local residents and supported by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
The hall was officially renamed The Roger Morris Centre on the 31 July 2004 in memory of the late Councillor Roger Morris, Eastrop Ward Councillor and three times Mayor of Basingstoke.
